Hidden For Now, 2024,  is a temporary outdoor photo installation located in Enniscorthy, Ireland in Co. Wexford. During a 2-week long residency period this piece was made in response to my time spent learning about the woods surrounding the active farm that is Cowhouse Studios. To preserve and increase the native conifer forests in the country, Irish farmer's are partnering with the Department of Agriculture, Food, and the Marine and local timber companies to conduct reforestation operations in woodland areas of non-indigenous trees and replanting with native tree species. This process, which will take generations to complete, is expected to restore Ireland's natural forest coverage from 3% to 7% over the next century. Ireland's forests have a major role in the global carbon cycle and appropriate management of forests is crucial to aid in efforts to mitigate the effects of climate change. The forest that this work hangs in will eventually be cut down and replanted with native Scots Pine to ensure natural regrowth and repopulation of native wildlife species.

Hidden For Now, 2024, was made using found materials that will disintegrate by the time this section of forest will be cut down. The images, all taken in the forest, were transferred using plant based ink and soaked in water collected from a local mountain stream.
